Topshop 'Hayden' Jeans:

Channelling my inner 90's Ant & Dec wasn't a look I intended to go for, but when I saw these amazing Boyfriend jeans in the Topshop sale I figured I needed them to embrace my inner 90's hipster. The jeans are so comfortable with a really cute rolled up ankle and although I had to get a waist size up, they suit the look I think i'm going for- very grungy, relaxed and slightly MC Hammer.
What more could I want from a pair of jeans?

Think Pink:

Although my birthday does now seem like the longest time ago (you can read more here), probably the biggest and best present was this amazing 'Think Pink' box of goodies I received.
Filled with most of LUSH's best selling, most pink products, it's a riot of incredible smells, textures and products. There's everything from bubble bars to soap to lip scrubs so it's safe to say I'm definitely thinking pink at the minute. Most of these products will work their way into their posts on the blog, but I couldn't resist photographing and featuring this beautiful gift set. I must admit, occasionally I open the box just to look and smell it... that's perfectly normal though, right?

Have you ever used Think Pink? What's your favourite product out of the set?

H&M Haul:

White Kimono (similar), Red Floral Cami (similar), Purple Floral Cami (similar),
Floral Dress (similar), Striped Top (similar), Daisy Dress

It's been a while since I treated myself to a H&M haul so when their summer sale recently started I couldn't resist getting my hands on some work and holiday pieces. I seem to gravitate to darker florals when the weather gets warmer (florals? for Spring? How groundbreaking) as i'm not quite one for neon, but even I struggle to keep the Wednesday Addams look going in the middle of summer.
As seems to be the case for H&M quite often, I couldn't find most of these pieces online but I know they are still in store.. especially the heavily featured white kimono and the last floral dress which are current stock.

Have you had a H&M haul recently? Any summer pieces you're loving?

Haircare Haul:

I honestly think I must be the queen of the impromptu haul. I only called into my new 'Savers' store for some hair dye and travel sized shampoo and conditioner, but I somehow ended up with a handful of bargain haircare goodies I did not need.

I know i'm so late to the Argan oil party but I couldn't resist this leave in conditioner and heat protector for a measly 99p each.. I seem to collect leave in conditioners like Ash collects Pokemon but there's always room for one more- this one is almost a putty and seems to soften my hair very noticeably. I picked up the heat protector simply because it was cheap and a spray- i've been using the John Freida Frizz Ease Thermal Hair Serum but I find it weighs down my hair and I personally don't think it lives up to it's price tag.

Finally, the 'Pure Coconut Glossing Spray' was a total wildcard that I threw in my basket last minute. Any long time readers of whatgeorgiadidnext will know I am forever holding out for my Emma Watson hair transformation and anything that promises 'glossiness' catches my eye instantly. I don't expect this spray will change my life but for less than a bottle of diet coke, it smells good and it'll be a good handbag hair essential.

What did you pick up in your last haul? Any haircare hoarders like me? Do you shop in Savers?

#OOTD 3:

White Kimono - H&M (similar)
Blazer - Vintage (similar)

I absolutely love this Topshop dress- the intricate monochrome pattern, the pom-pom detailing, the versatility.. it's got it all. I originally paired the dress with my bargain cut out boots and my kimono but when the weather took a turn for the worse, I simply threw on my trusty black blazer for a more informal and, more importantly, warm outfit that was still perfect for summer. This dress was only £28 (although I got it for a bargain £5.20 thanks to my student discount and a birthday voucher!) and I can easily see it becoming a wardrobe staple- I went on holiday last week and wore it to the airport, twice while there and on the way home.

Which is your favourite look? How would you style this dress?

Puma Suede Classic:

Ahh impluse buys, where would my blog and wardrobe be without you?
I didn't want a pair of pink trainers and I was absolutely not in the market for them but after calling into USC (a huge shout out to their amazing staff too who were so helpful and friendly!) I spotted them tucked away on the shelf and I knew I just needed them.
They're the Puma Suede Classic's in pink and I'm completely smitten with them; they're comfortable and perfect for excerising and also just for pairing with everyday outfits.

For £54.99 (£50 with discount) they're one of my more expensive impulse buys  but they're multi-use and I just couldn't resist the colour and the suede material- they feel slightly vintage and add a little interest to my otherwise bland wardrobe plus they're so comfortable, I never want to take them off!

I never thought I was a trainer person but these babies have definitely changed my mind- they just show trainers can still be girly and glamorous and the perfect pairing to a fashion bloggers wardrobe.

What was your last impulse buy? Do you have a pair of Pumas?

OOTD #2:

Yesterday's outfit was the perfect to enjoy the sun and a full day of shopping... My mum and I only called into town to return some bits and ended up spending 5 hours and too much money in the shops.. oops.
I paired my new H&M lace kimono with a Topshop playsuit and my beloved Zara city bag.
I love the pattern of the playsuit- it's a mix of purple, black and white and a water-colour effect making it perfect for pairing with monochrome accessories such as this amazing, light white lace kimono that's perfect for the sun.
I always feel like you know something's a good buy when people stop you and ask where you bought it from which happened twice with my kimono yesterday.. the perfect mood boost!

What are your favourite summer OOTD's?

The Zara Citybag:

You know when you see something and the angels start singing, your eyes lit up and you just know you need it?
That's what happened when I saw the Zara Citybag in all its glory.
I seem to spend my life buying and getting excited about new handbags but this one is really special. A slightly unusual navy/ black colour with gold detailing and more pockets than I even could fill, this bag was definitely worth it's £59.99 price tag.
I'm completely smitten with my new bag and can't wait to end to my fledging zara handbag collection.

What is your favourite handbag?

Asda Bikini Haul:

Metallic Crochet Bikini Bottoms (similar)

Once again, a simple 'oh i'll just nip into the ASDA' somehow ended up in me buying new swimwear pieces I absolutely did not need but just had to had.. oops.

I've really wanted a fringed bikini for a while and I loved the unusual electric blue colour of this one.. plus for only £12 it had to come home with me. They also do it in black which is so classic and beautiful.

The other two bikini bottoms were only £4 each and are both so unusual.
I'm so pleased with my bargains and can't wait to wear them on holiday!

The Birthday:

Football Field Selfies | Tapas | Pandora Ring | Cocktails & my dip dye

So last Friday I finally celebrated leaving my teenage years!
I spent the day with my long suffering boyfriend who spoilt me rotten and allowed me to eat too many carbs although he did get his own back by making us stop by the football field and watch a live game of "Aussie Rules" in the evening which went completely over my head!
We spent most of the day browsing the shops in Birmingham, trying to choose a Birthday-Present-Ring (I finally settled on this beautiful art deco style Pandora beauty that I can't stop looking at) and for lunch we ate amazing tapas at Bar Estilo and the service, food and strong drinks were all amazing. We will definitely be back.. i'm still dreaming of those nachos!

All in all I had a wonderful day.. birthday's are definitely my favourite!
